The Art of Bespoke Measurement
Follow our precise anatomical guidelines to capture the perfect silhouette for custom-tailored apparel.
3 measurements needed for this style.
01Neck Girth
Measure around the base of the neck, allowing room for two fingers laid flat under the tape.
02Chest Girth
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape flat and snug without tightening it.
03Back Length
Measure along the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, with your dog standing naturally.
04Front Leg Girth
Measure around the widest part of one front leg, close to the body and just below the armpit. Keep the tape snug without tightening it.
05Front Leg Length
With your dog standing naturally, measure along the inside of one front leg from the armpit to the wrist, just above the paw.
06Front Leg Width (Between Front Legs)
With your dog standing naturally and viewed from the front, measure the straight distance between the inner edges of the two front legs where they meet the chest. Keep the tape horizontal. Do not wrap the tape around a leg.
07Hind Leg Girth
Measure around the widest part of one hind thigh, close to the body and just below the groin. Keep the tape snug without tightening it.
08Hind Leg Length
With your dog standing naturally, measure along the inside of one hind leg from the groin to the level of the hock, the lower joint that projects backward. Follow the illustrated endpoints.
Before You Measure
Use a soft measuring tape with your dog standing naturally. Enter all measurements in inches (in).
A Comfortable Fit
Allow two fingers at the neck only. For chest and leg girths, keep the tape snug without tightening it. Follow each guide for the measuring points.
